Fieldfisher's top-ranked Technology, Outsourcing & Privacy Group has an excellent opportunity based in our growing Manchester office for a Solicitor looking to further develop their career amongst one of the largest teams of lawyers in the field.

Based in our Manchester office, you will be a member of our international Technology, Outsourcing & Privacy team, providing support to regional, national and international clients.
Responsibilities would include:
- Drafting and advising on technology contracts (including SaaS, cloud, managed services, reseller, software & systems development, systems integration, software licensing & maintenance for vendors and clients)
- Drafting and advising on outsourcing contracts (for example IT, BPO, FM)
- Advice on privacy issues, including data sharing agreements
- Working closely with colleagues across our international Technology, Outsourcing & Privacy team
- A high degree of direct client contact on a day-to-day basis
- Participation in marketing and practice development initiatives

- Qualified lawyer with proven experience in Commercial contracts and/or Technology, Outsourcing & Privacy
- Strong academics
- Sound working knowledge of contract and commercial law
- Good understanding of IP would be helpful (especially copyright, database rights and software patents)
- Good understanding of privacy law and regulatory guidance would be helpful
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Team player willing to contribute to wider team growth, and a desire to build strong internal relationships as well as helping to develop client relationships for the firm
