The Document Production Specialist role will form part of the Firm’s secretarial team providing support to all legal and non-legal departments and practice areas.
The Document Production Specialist (“DPS”) is skilled in a wide range of document production, presentation and graphic areas. Fast and accurate copy and audio typing skills are essential for this role as are expert IT skills, or the willingness to work towards this standard. The role requires the ability to perform independently and the flexibility to adapt to any situation. Discretion and initiative are paramount as the DPS may work on material of a highly confidential nature to tight deadlines.
The individual must have the ability to organise and expedite work whilst maintaining a professional demeanour at all times and in all situations. Working as part of team the role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to balance, manage and prioritise work across the firm ensuring our clients are kept aware of progress and challenges as appropriate.
The successful post holder will be required to record and capture utilisation on the team's worklog. |
Technical Skills
- Advanced Word/Office skills are essential for this role as is the ability to produce, format and work with complex and lengthy documents and agreements
- MOS Word and PowerPoint desirable, but successful candidate would be expected to achieve this standard following training
- Fast accurate typing skills (minimum 70 wpm)
- Intermediate Excel skills

- Proven experience within a document production unit in a law firm is desirable for this role, although training will be provided to successful internal candidates
